Service Agreements
Yamaha IM offers two types of standard Service Agreements for each of its products:

  • Preventive Maintenance Agreement
  • Extended Warranty Agreement

Prevented Maintenance Agreement
On regular intervals, Yamaha IM certified engineers perform the full maintenance of the equipment including full calibration. Recommendation is to execute a full Preventive Maintenance each 2000 running hours.

Duration
Minimum duration for an Preventive Maintenance Agreement is one year. There is no limit for the maximum duration.

Execution
Upon mutual agreement with the customer, Yamaha IM certified engineer(s) will visit customer’s factory. During that visit, the engineer performs the preventive maintenance actions designed to keep the machine in optimal running condition. Preventive Maintenance parts are exchanged and Maintenance Checklist is followed to ensure all critical and wear and tear elements are checked.

Calibration
After completion of the Preventive Maintenance, machine is calibrated using Yamaha IM dedicated tooling.
This calibration will verify that machine is running within accuracy specifications for all heads and cameras.

Certification
Yamaha IM will issue a Calibration Certificate that will be valid until next Preventive Maintenance due date. Calibration Certificate document is per machine serial number. Certification will include a visual signal (sticker) in the machine that will inform when next calibration will need to be executed.

What is included?
Preventive Maintenance Agreement includes:

  • Yearly (or half-yearly) Preventive Maintenance visit
  • Manpower for Preventive Maintenance action
  • Travel & Lodging
  • Preventive Maintenance parts
  • Calibration of the system
  • Calibration Certification
  • Preventive Maintenance Report with suggested improvements
  • Special daily rate for corrective actions during validity of the contract
